Before I got fully into my company career I was a high-performance track and field athlete, and even previously I realized how important my sports equipment was, even as a jogger. There were these comfortable shoes, socks, shorts, and jersey – everything mattered, choosing surprised. Even previously those shoes, shorts, and shirts weren’t stated in the USA, but that wasn’t going to stop me. Okay so, let’s talk, given it usually me little has evolved since that time, which was twenty years ago.

You see, recently, there was clearly an item in the Wall Street Journal on July 20, 2012, which asked; “Does It Matter China Made the US Olympic Uniforms,” by John Bussey, which discussed the media sensation brouhaha over the not “stated in America” controversy of the uniforms worn on the 2012 London Olympic Games by American athletes. The article stated; “The flap over uniforms provides extensive regarding the US’s fraught relations with China plus a sense the US is losing the race on the Chinese.”

You know, in numerous regards the simple truth is, but we have not made apparel in our country for some time now, almost all of that textile industry went to Mexico as a result of NAFTA, and then got outsourced towards the Chinese, and finally, well, they create most from the clothes we buy there now, and these comfortable shoes, even if they say Nike, Adidas, or some other well-known brand. If you own Nike apparel, the running shorts I am wearing right this moment, well, they’re manufactured in Singapore, not China, but what is; it is still not manufactured in the USA. Secondly, nothing is wrong with them, they fit snug, feel happy, and appearance sharp.

Let advice ask you something; did these athletes practice in USA Made sportswear – not likely. In fact, in their lives just as one athlete, only on rare occasions did they wear any sports attire produced in the USA, but now I guess since it is an election year, high unemployment numbers, along with the unions desire to elect a democrat, I guess it’s news worthy, as outsourcing of American Jobs generally seems to be a huge pet peeve for this political season.

Now then, let me ask you something different; let me know once you celebrated your Fourth of July, I bet you had a BBQ, a very cool unit, that you bought at Lowes or Home Depot and I bet it wasn’t stated in America. Nor were the paper plates, plastic cups, or plastic American Flags – you see all of that was manufactured in China. Further, who do you imagine invented fireworks inside first place – yep, the Chinese some 2,000 years ago the truth is. Think about it. All we need to concentrate on in winning Gold Metals – a great deal of them!
